The Blue Devils used a balanced scoring attack and some hot shooting in the seocnd half to beat the Almont Raiders, 68-60. The win moves Richmond's record to 13-4 overall, and 8-3 in the Blue Water Area Conference. Almont drops to 4-7 in the BWAC.

Richmond found itself down at the half 27-26, and the game was close throughout most of the second half. With 3.5 seconds left at the end of the third quarter, Dustin Dagastino founf Jesse Depauw with a long inbounds pass, the length of the floor, for a buzzer beating basket and a two-point lead. That momentum carried over into the fourth and the Blue Devils scored the first six points and never looked back.

The Blue Devils were led by seniors Matt Pozolo and Jesse Depauw, with 13 points apiece. Pozolo had five assists and Depauw grabbed four rebounds. Sophomore Nick Manchik scored 12 with three rebounds and three assists, and junior Nick Vansimaeys chipped in with 9 points and one assist. The Blue devils scored a season-high 26 points in the fourth quarter. Ball movement was key, as the Richmond squad made 15 assists on 20 baskets for the game.

Richmond continues their season this coming Tuesday, as the Blue Devils travel to Yale. Friday the Blue Devils host league-leading Armada.
