John Mullin
Men's Basketball - Sports Information / Electroinc Media Coordinator

John Mullin enters his third season of involvement with Richmond Basketball this year. As a student teacher with Richmond High School in 2006, Mullin became involved as an assistant to the basketball program. Through his work as a statistician and web designer, Mullin was given the role of Electronic Media Coordinator during the 2007-08 season.

Mullin's experience in basketball stems back to his involvement at Central Michigan University, where he was a broadcaster of CMU Women's Basketball (NCAA 1-A) for six seasons. During that span, Mullin was also a radio play-by-play announcer for Shepherd High School varsity football, CMU Baseball, CMU Softball and CMU Football. He was also the creator and host of Sportszone, a multi-award winning show that was honored by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in 2004. During his tenure with CMU, Mullin also rose to the ranks of Station Manager of WMHW-FM Mount Pleasant, where he shared the 2005 Student Service Award.

Mullin graduated CMU in 2006 with a degree in Secondary Education (English major, Mathematics minor). In addition to his basketball work for Richmond, he was also a statistician for Richmond Varsity Football and the Junior Varsity Tennis head coach during the 2006-07 campaigns.

Mullin left lower Michigan in August of 2007 to persue a teaching career. He is currently a mathematics teacher at Pahrump Valley High School in Pahrump, NV. There, he is the home voice of PVHS varsity football and a member of the chain gang for Junior Varsity games.
