Staff Bios
David Varga
Assistant - Varsity Basketball

David Varga is a 2000 graduate of Richmond High School. He played basketball, football, and ran track. Dave also helped coach 5th and 6th grade boys basketball players when he was a senior.

After high school, Dave traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to Life University. He began working on his Bachelor’s of Science degree and his prerequisites for chiropractic school. He also played one season of basketball for Life before the program was cut due to financial reasons. He then pursued rugby at Life where the rough sport revealed the value of sports chiropractic to him. While on the rugby team, Dave experienced the thrill and privilege of two sweet sixteen appearances and one final four appearance. Dave graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic in December 2006 with his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree.

Dr. Dave brings a unique perspective to the Richmond Basketball coaching staff as only a doctor can. Years of studying the human anatomy and how the body works will allow Dave to aide the basketball players in their performance and also help prevent and recover from any injuries. Dave is excited and eager to work with Coach Barnes and Coach Salankiewicz and learn more about coaching basketball.
