Program Prepares For Busy Summer

June is upon us, and that usually means one thing… summer basketball! As it does every year, the program is busy with camps, summer games for varsity and JV, and the Blue Water Area All-Star game. “We like to get all of our work done in June” explained Coach Barnes recently. “ This gives us, and more importantly, the players, an opportunity to enjoy some of their summer and focus on family, as well as other activities. For that reason, we try to hit it hard for a few weeks after school, and then allow them time to be kids”.
Practices for the varsity and JV team begin Monday, June 7. The varsity team will play approximately 35 games in the month of June, while the JV will play in approximately 16. The program is also hosting five camps in the month of June: Team camps for Varsity Boys, JV Boys, and Varsity Girls teams, and two youth camps, from grades 1-4 and 5-9. If you are a sophomore in the fall, as well as selected freshmen:

June 7-10 Practice, 6-7:30pm
June 14 Practice, 6-7:30pm
June 15 @ Avondale, 6-7:30pm

The Richmond Basketball program has announced the schedules for the JV Boys and Varsity Girls summer camps.
